Russkaia Literatura

 

(Russian Literature), a Soviet literary and historical quarterly published in Leningrad since 1958 by the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. In addition to articles dealing with the history and theory of Russian and Soviet Russian literature, the journal contains surveys and reviews of literary studies published in the USSR. It also follows developments in the study of Russian language and literature abroad. Russkaia literatura regularly publishes archival materials. Circulation, approximately 16,000 (1975).
