The Liverpool-born advisor to Tory leader David Cameron hailed the firm, The Heath owner SOG and building developer RJ Lewis Projects, saying: "People of quality, teams of quality that work together, will be the ones that survive - being efficient, being innovative and being dedicated to actually deliver a quality outcome.
SOG director John Lewis said fire officers praised the company for its swift response to the incident, and for emergency procedures which helped firefighters to contain the blaze and prevent it spreading to neighbouring buildings.
