SPP
(1) (Scalable Parallel Processor) A multiprocessing computer that can be upgraded by adding more CPUs.

(2) (Standard Parallel Port) The Centronics parallel port that was used on the first PCs. It was superseded by the higher-speed EPP and ECP ports of the IEEE 1284 interface. See Centronics interface and IEEE 1284.

Modelled on the familiar frequent flyer format used by airlines, the Seagate SPP Rewards Programme is open to all existing and new members of the Seagate Partner Programme (SPP) in EMEA.
SPP said the upgrades would reduce the overall cost of generation as well as reduce congestion on the transmission system and could provide increased reliability and lower consumer costs.
Success in this program gave momentum for the SPP to grow.
