Sadi, Saadi
original name Sheikh Muslih Addin. ?1184--1292, Persian poet. His best-known works are Gulistan (Flower Garden) and Bustan (Tree Garden), long moralistic poems in prose and verse

Two of the original signers of the "prisoners' document," Abdul Khaleq al-Natsheh (Hamas) and Bassam al Sa'di (Islamic Jihad) later withdrew their signatures to protest the way the document was used by President Abbas.
Sa'di is with the Department of Politics and Government, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
