Šabac 

a city in Yugoslavia in Serbia. Port on the Sava River. Population, 45,000 (1976). Šabac has zinc-smelting, chemical, wood-products, and leather industries. Flour, alcohol, vodka, meat, canned fruit and vegetables, and other food products are also manufactured.
