(physical chemistry)
A protective coating applied to a metal surface to act as an anode and be consumed in an electrochemical reaction, thereby preventing electrolytic corrosion of the metal.

Either Bravo series is a good choice, although Bravo III drives have been prone to corrosion problems if the sacrificial zinc anodes are allowed to waste away.
The parts were connected electrically to a sacrificial zinc anode using stainless steel wire.
