Sadgorod
a seaside pelotherapeutic health resort in the Primor’e Krai, RSFSR, 26 km from Vladivostok and on the southeast shore of Uglovaia Bay. Summers are warm, with an average August temperature of 20°C, and winters are moderately cold, with an average January temperature of - 15°C. Precipitation totals 740 mm annually. The therapeutic remedies at Sadgorod include the use of sea mud from Uglovaia Bay and sea bathing. Diseases of the musculoskeletal organs and the nervous system, as well as gynecological ailments, are treated. Sadgorod has a sanatorium and a water and mud treatment facility.
