Sadiq Bayg Afshar 

(also Sadiqi Sadiq Bayg Afshar). Born 1533 in Tabriz; died between 1610 and 1620. Artist of the Tabriz school, poet, and literary historian.

Sadiq Bayg Afshar wrote the treatise on art Qanun al-suwar (Canons of Representation) and the literary-historical work Majma’-al hawas (1599). Several of his miniatures, chiefly portraits, are known.
