Sadtler, Samuel Philip

Sadtler, Samuel Philip (1847–1923) educator, chemist; born in Schuylkill County, Pa. He was professor of chemistry and physics at the University of Pennsylvania (1874–78) and professor of chemistry at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy until 1916. The author of textbooks, he consulted on over 50 patent litigation cases.
