76 Douglass is with IBM Rational, a leading producer of tools for real-time systems development; he consults to many companies and organizations on building both small- and large-scale, real-time, safety-critical systems.
With safety-critical systems, the organizations likely to fund such a project cannot afford to conduct a system using agile methods, given the high priority for ensuring the protection to the human life.
