Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site

Location: In Paris, near the northern border of the state.
Facilities: Historic structure, museum, park store, restrooms.
Special Features: Built in 1867 in the High Victorian Italianate style, the two-story Maxey House was home to ex-Confederate general and later United States senator Sam Bell Maxey. Members of the Maxey family lived in the house until 1966.
