Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor Location: Off US 101, 4 miles north of Brookings. Facilities: Picnic area, beach access, restrooms (é), hiking trail. Activities: Hiking, fishing, swimming, interpretive tours, boating. Special Features: The corridor is a 12-mile densely forested, linear park with a rugged, steep coastline interrupted by small sand beaches. It features 300-year-old Sitka spruce trees and a 27-mile segment of the Oregon Coast Trail.
