Area (sq mi): 4735.63 (land 4717.04; water 18.59). Pop per sq mi: 6.30. Pop 2005: 29,530. State rank: 16. Pop change: 2000-20005 -2.00%; 1990-2000 17.00%. Pop 2000: 30,126 (White 18.90%; Black or African American 0.80%; Hispanic or Latino 78.00%; Asian 0.50%; Other 42.40%). Foreign born: 2.50%. Median age: 35.10.
