San Pablo (săn păb`lō), city (1990 pop. 25,158), Contra Costa co., W Calif., on San Pablo Bay, a suburb of Oakland; inc. 1948. Villa Matilde, San Luis, and San Pablo were close to Mercedes, and Pampa Pozo and a logging operation were close to Trinidad (Figure 1).
