Sarma

Sarma 

a strong local bora-type wind on the western coast of Lake Baikal, near the mouth of the Sarma River. It blows from the Primorskii Range to the surface of the lake, often with a velocity of more than 15 m/sec and with gusts up to 40 m/sec. The sarma is a westerly or northwesterly wind. It occurs most often between October and December.
