Sarydzhaz
a mountain range in the Central Tien-Shan, primarily in the Kirghiz SSR. The Sarydzhaz is located between the Sarydzhaz River in the north and the Inyl’chek River, a left tributary of the Sarydzhaz River, in the south. It measures approximately 110 km long. The highest elevation in the western half is 4,799 m, and the highest elevation at the junction of the eastern end with the Meridional’nyi Range is 6,261 m. The range is composed of metamorphic schists, marmorized limestones, and granites. The Semenov and Mushketov glaciers are located on the northern slopes.
