Sausalito

Sausalito (sô'səlē`tō), residential city (1990 pop. 7,152), Marin co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1893. It is the northern terminus of the Golden Gate Bridge. The artists' colony there is a tourist attraction.
