Scaravaglione, Concetta (Maria) (1900–75) sculptor; born in New York City. She studied at the National Academy of Design, the Art Students League, and later in Rome (1947–50). Using the direct carving technique, she worked with flowing lines and humanistic themes, as in Group (1935).
