Schlemm's canal [′shlemz kə‚nal]
(anatomy)
A space or series of spaces at the junction of the sclera and cornea in the eye; drains aqueous humor from the anterior chamber.

About 510k Clearance The FDA has granted 510k clearance for the canaloplasty microcatheter for catheterization and viscodilation of the Schlemm's canal to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with POAG.
The aqueous humor passes from the anterior chamber through the trabecular meshwork (the drainage system "filter") into Schlemm's canal that is connected to the venous system.
