screen angle The angle at which a halftone screen is placed over an image. Generally, 45 degrees produces the best results. In a digital system, the screen angle is simulated by the placement of the dots within the halftone cells. See halftone.screen angle [′skrēn ‚aŋ·gəl] (electromagnetism) Vertical angle bounded by a straight line from the radar antenna to the horizon and the horizontal at the antenna assuming a ⁴⁄₃ earth's radius.
