Scripps-Howard Newspapers 

one of the largest newspaper chains in the USA. Founded in 1878, Scripps-Howard publishes a number of influential newspapers, including the Cleveland Press. The chain also owns radio and television stations and has controlling interest in the United Press International news agency.
