Sea Lion Cove State Marine Park Location: On the north end of Kruzof Island, 25 miles northwest of Sitka; no road access. Facilities: Trails. Activities: Camping, fishing, hiking, beachcombing, birdwatching. Special Features: Park has no developed facilities, but offers more adventurous visitors the opportunity to explore a remote sandy beach on the Gulf of Alaska. Access to the park is by boat to Kallinin Bay, where a trail begins along a river estuary that leads 2.5 miles through forest and muskegs to Sealion Cove.
