SecureZIP

    0.01 sec.
SecureZIP
A family of data protection products built on the widely used PKZIP compression standard from PKWARE Inc., Milwaukee, WI (www.pkware.com). Incorporating password protection, digital signature authentication and digital certificate-based encryption from RSA Security's BSAFE software, SecureZIP allows data in compressed formats to be transmitted, used and stored with privacy and confidentiality.

The command line-based server version was released in 2003 and supports Windows Server 2000 and 2003, Solaris, HP-UX, IBM-AIX and Linux 2.4 and higher. The GUI-based Windows client version was introduced in 2004 and provides e-mail users with a stand-alone encryption and decryption capability. See PK software and RSA.
