Seer*HPS
An earlier integrated set of tools for application development from Blue Phoenix Solutions, Cary, NC (www.bluephoenixsolutions.com). It was object based and repository driven and included systems analysis tools, application code generation, configuration management and distributed networking facilities. Expanded and renamed AppBuilder, it was originally developed by Seer Technologies, Inc., purchased by Level 8 Systems, Inc. in 1999 (www.level8.com) and sold off to the newly-formed BluePhoenix group shortly after. In 2006, Level 8 renamed itself Cicero, Inc.
