Sel’gi

the name given to ridgelike glacial relief forms in the Karelian ASSR. The sel’gi are composed of crystalline rocks or unconsolidated deposits. The alternation of sel’gi covered by pine forests with low-lying areas of swamps and lakes creates what is known as sel’gi landscape.
