Seminole Canyon State Park & Historic Site Location: 45 miles west of Del Rio, near the confluence of the Rio Grande with the Pecos River. Facilities: Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, showers, restrooms (é), picnic areas, multi-use trails, interpretive trail, interpretive center, scenic overlook, park store. Activities: Camping, hiking, mountain biking, hunting (with restrictions), guided tours. Special Features: Fate Bell cave, located in the canyon, contains some of North America's oldest pictographs. Guided tours allow visitors to see examples of ancient Native American rock art at several different sites in the canyon.
