Location:In Montgomery County, 1.5 miles west of Gaithersburg, off I-270.
Facilities:Picnic areas and shelters (é), playgrounds, restrooms (é), trails, boat rentals, visitor center with auditorium, museum, disc golf course, shooting range.
Activities:Boating, flatwater canoeing, freshwater fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting, cross-country skiing, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park includes 90-acre Clopper Lake. Sites of historical interest include a partially restored mill with outdoor exhibits and a one-room schoolhouse.
