Location: 5 miles south of Seney, Michigan. Facilities: Visitor center, viewing sites, auto tour route, trails. Activities: Fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, educational programs. Special Features: More than 200 species of birds, 26 species of fish, 45 species of mammals, and 420 plant species have been recorded on the refuge. Habitats: 95,212 acres of bogs, wetland, and forest. Access: Open during daylight hours. Wild life: Trumpeter swans, sandhill cranes, Canada geese, eagles osprey, common loons, river otters, beavers, black bears, moose, and gray wolves. See other parks in Michigan.
