Mintslov, Sergei Rudol’fovich 

Born Jan. 1 (13), 1870, in Riazan’; died Dec. 18, 1933, in Riga. Russian bibliographer, author, and book collector.

Mintslov graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Archaeological Institute. He wrote a number of bibliographic works, the most important being Survey of Notes, Diaries, Memoirs, Letters, and Travel Accounts Pertaining to the History of Russia and Printed in the Russian Language (fascs. 1–5, Novgorod, 1911–12). The single most valuable bibliography of Russian memoirs written prior to the 20th century, it contains nearly 5,000 titles. In August 1917, Mintslov left for Finland.
