Sesquicentennial State Park Location: 3 miles from I-20, in the north central portion of the state. Facilities: 87 campsites, primitive group camp, picnic area, 5 picnic shelters, hiking trails, bike trail, lake beach, boat rentals, nature center, retreat center, playground. Activities: Camping, boating (non-motorized; no private boats), fishing, swimming, hiking, biking. Special Features: Park is situated in the middle of the sandhills region and features a 30-acre lake surrounded by trails and picnic areas. A new feature of the park is a 2-acre fenced-in dog park where dogs can run off-leash.
