Severi
a dynasty of Roman emperors that ruled from A.D. 193 to 235. The Severi included Septimius Severus (ruled 193–211), Caracalla (211–217), Geta (211–212), Heliogabalus (Elagabalus: 218–222), and Alexander Severus (222–235). The dynasty created a military and bureaucratic monarchy that defended the interests of large groups of slaveholders. In their policies, the Severi, with the exception of Alexander Severus, were hostile to the Senate. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
