(astronomy)
A constellation in the southern hemisphere, right ascension 10 hours, declination 0°. Also known as Sextant.

Sextans 

an equatorial constellation that contains no stars brighter than visual stellar magnitude 4.0. The best conditions for observing Sextans occur in February and March; the constellation is visible everywhere in the USSR.
