Sharanga

an urban type settlement and the administrative center of Sharanga Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR. Sharanga is situated 75 km southeast of the Uren’ railroad station on the Gorky-Kirov line. Industry is represented by a souvenir factory of the Khokhlomskaia Rospis’ Production Association, a butter factory, a flax-processing plant, and a vegetable-drying plant.
