Shareholders’ Commandite
in bourgeois states, a type of company (partnership) that combines elements of a joint stock company and of a commandite proper. In a shareholders’ commandite, some partners—the investors—are responsible with their entire property for the obligations of the company, while other partners—the shareholders—are liable only within the limits of their investment, which is expressed in stock certificates. The affairs of a shareholders’ commandite are carried on and further investment decisions are made by the fully responsible investors. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
