Bodanza because of Boutell's role in Shay's Rebellion, a post-Revolutionary War revolt by Western Massachusetts farmers over debt and taxes.
Included in the 48 conflicts discussed are all of the commonly known conflicts, as well as Shay's Rebellion and the Whiskey Rebellion, the Texas War of Independence, Indian wars in the Pacific Northwest and California, the Boxer Rebellion, US interventions in Nicaragua and Panama, US interventions in Lebanon, and US intervention in the Somali Civil War, to cite just a few.
Shay's Rebellion took place in January 1787 on the grounds of the Springfield Armory, which is now the campus of STCC.
