Shosha 

a river in Kalinin Oblast and Moscow Oblast, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Volga. The Shosha is 163 km long and drains an area of 3,080 sq km. It rises in the Moscow Upland and empties into the Ivan’kovo Reservoir. The Shohsha is fed chiefly by snow; high water occurs in April. The mean flow rate 51 km from the mouth is 8.5 cu m per sec. The Shosha freezes over between November and early January, and the ice breaks up in late March or April.
