Location: Northwestern Wyoming. Accessible by US 14, 20, and 287; CO 120. Nearby cities/towns include Cody, Dubois, Lander, Meeteetse, and Powell.
Facilities: 2 visitor centers, 30 campgrounds, dispersed camping, picnic areas, trails (700+ miles), winter sports areas, scenic drives.
Activities: Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, OHV riding, mountain climbing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice climbing.
Special Features: Includes portions of the Absaroka, Wind River, and Beartooth mountain ranges; 13,804-foot Gannett Peak, the highest point in Wyoming; 16 named glaciers and 140 unnamed ones; Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (see entry in national trails section).

Run by Northwest College This field station is located 55 miles from Yellowstone National Park, in the Absaroka Mountain Range and the Shoshone National Forest.
