Location:In Washington County, 6 miles west of Hancock, on I-68.
Facilities:Visitor center, picnic area, food concession, scenic overlook; exhibit center (é) has exhibits, an orientation program, and tourism information.
Activities:Interpretive programs.
Special Features:The four-story exhibit center offers a unique opportunity to view one of the best rock exposures in the northeastern United States. Highway construction cut through the mountain, exposing almost 850 vertical feet of syncline, which formed 350 million years ago. The exhibit center is located within the state's 3,000-acre Sideling Hill Wildlife Management Area.
