Innovative Modulator Design Uses an External Clock to Provide Precise Measurement of Motor Phase Currents in Power Inverter Applications NUREMBERG, Germany -- Avago Technologies, a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications, today announced one of the industry's first optically isolated sigma-delta modulator using an external clock to provide direct measurement of motor phase currents in power inverters.
The new methods are provided in the PSoC Designer[TM] integrated development environment as user modules - CapSense Sigma-Delta Modulator (CSD) and CapSense Successive Approximation (CSA).
