2. Lucian. born 1922, British painter, esp of nudes and portraits; grandson of Sigmund Freud
3. Sigmund . 1856--1939, Austrian psychiatrist; originator of psychoanalysis, based on free association of ideas and analysis of dreams. He stressed the importance of infantile sexuality in later development, evolving the concept of the Oedipus complex. His works include The Interpretation of Dreams (1900) and The Ego and the Id (1923)

THERE were 300 apprentices trained by Sigmund Pumps after it was opened in 1937 by Czech engineer Miroslav Sigmund.
Sigmund Freud, she lived among a "dysfunctional family" with "all the conflicts and sorrows that most families deal with.
The topic has been debated for more than 100 years, since the cell were first described in 1875 by German scientist Friedrich Sigmund Merkel, after whom such cells were named.
