Silver Falls State Park Location: Off OR 214, 26 miles east of Salem. Facilities: 52 electrical hookup campsites, 45 tent campsites, 14 cabins, horsemen's camp, group camps, showers, restrooms (é), picnic areas, group picnic shelters, day-use lodge, hiking trails, bridle trails, bike trail, meeting hall, interpretive exhibit, nature center, amphitheater, playgrounds, conference center, museum. Activities: Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, jogging, wildlife viewing, interpretive and entertainment programs. Special Features: Located in the western foothills of the Cascade Range, the park includes more than 25 miles of trails, featuring the nationally recognized Trail of Ten Falls, a 7-mile hike that passes 10 waterfalls ranging in height from 27 to 177 feet.
