Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, ORV/ATV riding, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park features extensive frontage on Lake Michigan and includes acres of mature forest as well as dune country. The park's 450-acre vehicle "scramble" area is the only sand dunes site in Michigan that allows off-road vehicles.

Special Features: Silver Lake supports a good fishery of northern pike, perch, bass, and other warm water species. During the winter months when the park is closed, the lake is a popular spot for ice skating and ice fishing.
