Silver River State Park Location: East of Ocala, 1 mile south of SR 40 on SR 35. Facilities: 59 full-facility campsites, youth group camping area (primitive), 10 luxury cabins, biking and hiking trails, equine trails, interpretive exhibits, picnic area with pavilions, playground, restrooms, showers. Activities: Camping, canoeing/kayaking, off-road biking, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing. Special Features: The park includes 14 distinct natural communities, dozens of springs, and miles of trails. It also houses an 1800s Florida Cracker replica pioneer village with a house, school, church, and other homestead structures, as well as the Silver River Museum and Environmental Center.
