Slavuta 

a city (since 1938) and administrative center of Sla-vuta Raion, Khmel’nitskii Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Goryn’ River of the Dnieper River basin, near the Slavuta railroad station on the Shepetovka-Rovno line. Population, 28,400 (1975). Slavuta has plants for the production of rein-forced-concrete structural components, glass, and ceramic items for civil engineering. It also has a woodworking combine and enterprises of the food-processing and light industries. [23–1616–]
