Lesser Spotted Dogfish 

(Scyliorhinus caniculus), a fish of the family Scyliorhinidae. Body length, up to 1 m. The lesser spotted dogfish is found in the Atlantic Ocean, near the European coast; in the USSR it is encountered in the Black Sea. It feeds primarily on invertebrates (crustaceans, mollusks, and worms). Fertilization is internal; between two and 20 eggs are deposited. The lesser spotted dogfish is caught locally.
