Remember stories about the old snake oil salesman who traveled from town to town making claims for his fabulous product? snake oil salesman and preachers have preyed upon the hopes, fears and insecurities of their fellow citizens. In my opinion, he was a snake oil salesman who sold us happy propaganda to distract us from some of the things that he and his Cabinet achieved. |
