Society of Russian Sculptors
an association of artists founded in Moscow in 1926. Members of the society included N. A. Andreev, A. S. Golubkina, V. N. Domogatskii, I. S. Efimov, S. D. Lebedeva, V. I. Mukhina, M. D. Ryndziun-skaia, I. M. Chaikov, and I. D. Shadr. The artists worked in various styles. The society sought to develop a Soviet sculpture by bringing together like-minded sculptors. It organized exhibitions in 1926, 1927, 1929, and 1931. The society existed until 1932.
