Socket 775The motherboard receptacle that holds Pentium 4 CPUs based on 90 nanometers (Prescott chips). Also known as "Socket T" and "LGA775" (Land Grid Array 775), the 775 contacts in the socket are not holes for the chip's pins to be inserted.
