Sogne Fjord

 or Sognefjorden

Longest and deepest fjord in Norway. It extends 127 mi (204 km) inland from the Norwegian Sea and has a maximum depth of 4,291 ft (1,308 m). The fjord and its branches provide some of the most picturesque scenery in Norway.

In fact, the fjords of Sognefjorden and the Geirangerfjord are quite often visited by those traveling to Norway.
Flcm marks the head of the longest fjord in the world, Sognefjorden.
The Gjoa field is located in the blocks 35/9 and 36/7 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, approximately 45 km west of Sognefjorden, and 60 km northeast of Troll C.
