Sokal’ 

a city (since 1939) and administrative center of Sokal’ Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Bug River, 2 km from the Sokal’ railroad station on the L’vov-Kovel’ line and 78 km northeast of L’vov. Population, 17,600 (1975). Sokal’ has food-processing enterprises, plants for the production of reinforced-concrete products, chemical fibers, and bricks, and a hosiery factory.

Kirklees councillor Mohan Sokal from West Yorkshire Trading Standards Committee said: "Often dogs are bought by well-meaning people who may not be aware of the animal's background.
Regressions were compared using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), after testing residuals for normality (Anderson-Darling Teso and variance homogeneity (Levene's Test; Sokal & Rohlf 1995).
